Historically, katana were traditionally made Japanese swords used by the samurai of ancient and feudal Japan. Characterized by a curved, single-edged blade, circular or squared guard, and a long grip for two-handed use, the katana is a sturdy and beautiful weapon. Made with unique detailing and colors, it boasts a strong, sharp blade and a functional handle.

Crafted in Japan by experienced sword smiths using traditional methods, the katana goes through over 10 production processes including material selection, forging, hardening, quenching, polishing, grinding, sharpening, and final assembly - all done by hand.

In terms of performance, this katana features a battle-ready real sharp blade with good hardness and elasticity, capable of meeting actual combat requirements. It can cut through trees, fruit, water bottles, chop bamboo, slice tatami mats, and even paper.

This versatile sword can be used for collection, exhibitions, gifts, sword cutting training, self-defense, or even cosplay. However, it is essential to follow instructions for use carefully. Keep the sword away from water, avoid leaving it in damp or direct sunlight to prevent rusting, and ensure it is kept out of reach of children.

Proper maintenance is also crucial. Avoid touching the blade with bare hands to prevent cuts or rust from sweat. Refrain from cutting hard objects like stones or wires to prevent damage. Regularly clean the blade and apply maintenance oil to prevent oxidation and rust caused by moisture in the air.

With an overall length of 103 cm, a blade length of 70 cm, and a handle length of 26 cm, this katana is equipped with a 1095 carbon steel blade, electroplated with a purple surface. The blade features a unique traditional forging and polishing process, with an HRC of 58, Shinogidukuri blade shape, and a Full Tang for added strength.

The handle, or tsuka, boasts a humanized design for easy grip and comfort, with a hard wood core, black genuine rayskin Samegawa, zinc alloy kashira, fuchi, and menuki, and purple synthetic silk tsukamaki (Hineri maki), secured by two bamboo mekugi (peg). The scabbard, or saya, is a glossy black lacquered wooden sheath wrapped in purple synthetic silk sageo.

Included in the package is the sword with scabbard and a bag, with no display stand provided.
